Beginning with questions and observations about how surfaces are formed, each piece is created as a small world with its own system. Iron, mineral, temperature, time, and movement interact and respond to one another, gradually completing each form

The collection's colors — Burgundy, Tan, Moon, and Graphite are naturally achieved through these interactions. The result is a series of objects where no two surfaces are exactly alike.

Each piece carries its own record of material, heat, movement, and time.
