*** ARJ Holiday Return & Exchange Policy ***

To support holiday gifting while protecting the integrity of our artisanal collections, ARJ offers a limited extended return window on select items purchased between December 1 and December 24. All holiday returns must fully comply with the conditions outlined below.

Extended Holiday Return Window & Eligibility

Standard Merchandise:
Eligible non-artisanal items purchased during the holiday period may be returned within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase.

One-of-a-Kind Artisanal Items:
All one-of-a-kind items remain subject to our standard 7-day return window for a full refund. Returns made between 8 and 14 days from the date of purchase are eligible for store credit only. No returns will be accepted after 14 days from the date of purchase.

All other conditions default to ARJ’s standard return policy.

Our Return Policy

Return Requirements

ARJ accepts a return of unused merchandise with original packaging within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery. Damages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

All returned merchandise must be completely unused, undamaged, and in its original condition. Items must include all original packaging, inserts, tags, and accessories. All products must be returned with no signs of usage in its original packaging and with all related accessories and insert card included.

Returns must arrive within the applicable return window, and all products must be shipped back inside a protective outer box rather than the product’s retail box. Items that do not meet these requirements will not be accepted or refunded.

How to Initiate Return

To initiate a return, please contact us at help@arj.la for return authorization within 7 days from your receipt of product. Returns sent without authorization will be refused or returned to the sender at the customer’s expense. Once reviewed and if approved, we will email you your return authorization and pre-paid shipping label. Once we issue a return authorization, the item must be shipped back within 7 calendar days. Once a return is received and accepted, we will issue a refund back to your original payment method. Please allow us 5 business days to process the return items.

The products must be in original condition and packaged in their original packaging to be returned to us. Note that the product packaging should not be used as outside packaging, as the product may be damaged during transport, and you may receive a damage deduction. The product must be in unchanged condition and, for example, disassembled if it requires assembly.

We reserve the right to make a damage deduction if the products' condition has changed to such an extent that it cannot be sold to another customer without a discount. The deduction is made on the total return amount before it is refunded to you. We examine all returned items to determine if a deduction is necessary. Shipping & Fees

Original shipping fees are non-refundable. If an order originally qualified for free shipping, the both actual outbound shipping cost and a return shipping fee will also be deducted.

For any order with a merchandise value exceeding $1,000, a 7% restocking fee applies in addition to all shipping-related deductions. These policies help protect our small-batch artisans and ensure the integrity of our curated inventory.

Final Sale Items

The following items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable under all circumstances:

  • Custom or personalized items
  • Special orders
  • Items marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable”
  • Gift cards
  • Items damaged through normal wear
  • All international orders
  • One-of-a-kind items returned after the eligible return window

Damaged Items

Damages must be reported within 24 hours from your receipt of your product. Please do not discard any of damaged item or its packaging. If you believe an item was damaged in transit or defective, email help@arj.la within 24 hours with photos and a description of the issue to qualify for a full refund or exchange.

Please include:

  • Clear photos of the item, with the damage clearly visible
  • Photos of all packaging, including both interior and exterior boxes
  • A brief description of the damage or defect

Approved damage or defect claims will be refunded to the original form of payment or exchanged at no cost. Claims submitted after the 24-hour window, or without the required documentation, cannot be accepted, and ARJ will not be responsible for the damage.

Exchanges

We are not able to process online exchanges. You may return the original item for store credit and then place a new order. If you need assistance, please contact us.
