[Retail Sales Associate] 

Location: ROW DTLA, Downtown Los Angeles

ARJ Los Angeles (www.arj.la) is a lifestyle store offering curated artisanal tableware and contemporary home décor from Japan, Korea, and Europe. We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate with a passion for tableware and home decor, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Stock shelves and counters with merchandise
  • Encourage customers to make purchases
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization
  • Accurately process all POS transactions
  • Provide customer service through phone and electronic communication
  • Assist with online order fulfillment when necessary
  • Receive, pack, and ship orders  when necessary

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in retail sales with an emphasis on operations and store management
  • Genuine passion for tableware and home goods
  • Understanding of inventory management, shipping/receiving, and e-commerce is a bonus
  • Dependable with reliable transportation
  • Additional language (Korean, Japanese) is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

[Shipping/Fulfillment Associate] 

Location: ROW DTLA, Downtown Los Angeles

ARJ Los Angeles is a lifestyle store offering curated artisanal tableware and contemporary home décor from Japan, Korea, and Europe. We are seeking a motivated Fulfillment Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring efficient order fulfillment processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and manage inventory
  • Accurately pick customer orders
  • Package items securely for shipment
  • Load and unload shipments as needed
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Organize, count, and maintain inventory

Requirements:

  • Prior experience with shipping/receiving preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packaging orders
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and safely load/unload shipments
  • Knowledge of Shopify and basic software
  • Dependable with reliable transportation

Additional Information:

Flexible work hours and dates; schedules can be coordinated to your preference. (You may start early morning and finish early, or start late evening and finish late.)

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
