Description
Handcrafted in the UK, the Classical Cake Stand offers an elegant reinterpretation of a traditional piece. More than just perfect for cakes, it also serves beautifully as a centerpiece for cheeses, pies, and tarts. Made at the John Julian workshop in Wiltshire, each stand takes about a month to complete. The platform is hand-thrown in porcelain and glazed, while the sculptural base is individually crafted on the potter’s wheel. Both elements are fired separately before being joined and fired together, resulting in a refined, timeless piece.
Each handmade piece carries subtle variations in color and size, adding to its unique charm and character.
