Pierre Charpin created new series following Arita’s tradition of decorated ceramics. Between nostalgia and newness he designed a collection with a special attention on the form-decoration connection. This is a set of his 'Outline' Deep Plate Collection.
The focus on designing the object’s shape and decoration together results in a simple detail along the edge of each piece from which the motif of gradual shading emanate. The motif create a zone of pure whiteness which offers itself as an immaculate recipient willing to welcome and enhance any dish.
