We're here to help. For questions about bulk orders, sizes, finishes, custom gifts, or anything else, please submit an inquiry.DETAILS
This piece is made from iron-rich clay and finished with multiple layers of glaze, creating a mist-like effect through the glazing process. The blue is inspired by the traditional Japanese deep indigo. Each one is hand-shaped to introduce subtle, organic distortions. It works beautifully as a fruit bowl, for floating flowers, or simply as a decorative piece on its own.
Not dishwasher or microwave recommended.
As each piece is handmade, slight variations in color, shape, and size may occur compared to the photographs.

ABOUT YUKO IKEDA (池田優子)
Yuko Ikeda, a graphic design graduate from Platt College in San Diego, began teaching herself ceramics after returning to Japan. Now based in Osaka, she focuses on solo exhibitions where her work blends fluid, expressive lines with the colors and textures of natural elements. Her creations evoke the essence of abstract paintings that unfold like landscapes, blurring the boundary between functional ceramics and art. Her work is primarily inspired by nature, drawing influence from the sea, shells, flowers, leaves, and snow.
