This piece has gold applied to the edges and fired to set. It was designed in collaboration with a chef specifically for serving chilled white wine, though it would also be ideal for chilled sake.

Not dishwasher or microwave safe.

About Yuko Ikeda 池田優子

Yuko Ikeda, a graphic design graduate from Platt College in San Diego, began teaching herself ceramics after returning to Japan. Now based in Osaka, she focuses on solo exhibitions where her work blends fluid, expressive lines with the colors and textures of natural elements. Her creations evoke the essence of abstract paintings that unfold like landscapes, blurring the boundary between functional ceramics and art. Her work is primarily inspired by nature, drawing influence from the sea, shells, flowers, leaves, and snow.
