ARAS’s Heat Collection brings the beauty of Japanese ceramics to resilient, everyday tableware. Made in Japan from high-performance SPS resin reinforced with glass fiber, each piece is highly impact-resistant, with a dense, ceramic-like presence and a richly varied surface inspired by traditional Japanese glazes. No two pieces are exactly alike, giving every colorway its own distinctive character. Microwave-, dishwasher-, and bleach-safe, the collection moves effortlessly from reheating to serving while elevating everything from casual meals to special gatherings.

Care
- Dishwasher and bleach safe. Compatible with household dishwashers and dryers. For stubborn stains, chlorine-based bleach may be used.
- Microwave safe up to 700W. Avoid overheating, dry heating, or heating small amounts of food, as this may cause discoloration or fire. Use oven mitts when removing, as the container will be hot.
- Not for use with open flames, ovens, or toasters. Use only for its intended purpose.
- When hand washing, use a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive scrubbers and sharp metal knives to prevent surface scratches.
- Stain resistance. While resistant to most foods, prompt washing is recommended after using strong colorants like curry or tomato sauce.
- BPA-free and durable. Made from a specialized SPS resin and glass fiber blend. Natural surface patterns or molding lines may appear due to the material characteristics but do not affect strength or safety.
- Handle with care. Wash with dish soap before first use. Avoid dropping from heights to prevent breakage.

Manufactured in Ishikawa Prefecture, central Japan, ARAS tableware is made from a proprietary material combining Tritan resin and glass fiber, achieving a balance of strength and lightness not possible with traditional ceramics or glass. Some collections incorporate reclaimed materials such as cedar bark or sea-derived minerals, reflecting an ongoing exploration of resin as a sustainable medium.
The material is durable, non-toxic, and designed to resist breaking even after repeated drops. Though produced with precision machinery, subtle surface variations give each piece a quiet, handcrafted character. At its core, ARAS approaches tableware from the ground up, reconsidering material, technique, and form in support of long-term use and a circular lifecycle.
