Product Care
- The Cedar Bark series features a strong, natural cedar bark scent, so we wash each piece twice to enhance your eating experience. Every item is hand-wiped and inspected before delivery. While it is resistant to most staining, the cedar bark may change in appearance over time, especially with exposure to oil-rich foods. We see these changes as a testament to its organic nature and hope you'll appreciate its evolving beauty.
- Dishwasher safe: When loading in the dishwasher, avoid placing items near steam or hot air outlets, and do not place heavier items on top to prevent warping or deformation.
- Not microwave safe
- Oil-rich foods may alter its original appearance.
- Sharp metal knives may cause scratches due to the nature of the material.
- Please use a soft sponge or cloth. Scrubbing too hard with a scouring pad or hard sponge can easily cause scratches.
- Heat resistance: 212°F (100°C), cold resistance: -4°F (-20°C)
- BPA Free

About ARAS
Manufactured in Ishikawa Prefecture, central Japan, ARAS tableware is made from a proprietary material combining Tritan resin and glass fiber, achieving a balance of strength and lightness not possible with traditional ceramics or glass. Some collections incorporate reclaimed materials such as cedar bark or sea-derived minerals, reflecting an ongoing exploration of resin as a sustainable medium.
The material is durable, non-toxic, and designed to resist breaking even after repeated drops. Though produced with precision machinery, subtle surface variations give each piece a quiet, handcrafted character. At its core, ARAS approaches tableware from the ground up, reconsidering material, technique, and form in support of long-term use and a circular lifecycle.
