About Nahye Ceramics
Nahye Ceramics is the work of Nahye Park, a ceramic artist based in Suwon, Korea. Park's approach reflects her close observation of natural texture and movement. Her pieces are shaped through handprints that create flexible, flowing curves reminiscent of objects found in nature, ranging from dinnerware and vessels to candle holders and small sculptural objects.
The ruffled edges of her bowls and plates, the soft undulation of her goblets, and the gentle asymmetry of her jar vases all carry the feeling of something caught mid-movement, as if shaped by water or wind rather than hands. Whether set on a table or displayed on its own, each piece has a still-life quality that brings warmth and presence to any setting.
