Description

Elevate your table setting with the Gio Ponti Catene Collection porcelain bread plate, featuring the elegant Cachemire beige chain motif and refined gold threading. Inspired by the iconic designs of Gio Ponti, the interlocking chain pattern—symbolizing continuity and movement—stands out against the crisp white porcelain background, creating a timeless and sophisticated look.

This versatile bread plate pairs seamlessly with other pieces from the Catene tableware collection, including tea and coffee cups, dessert plates, and serving dishes. Mix and match with the same Cachemire beige for a minimalist aesthetic, or contrast it with vibrant hues like emerald green, scarlet red, or sapphire blue for a bold statement.

Perfectly sized for bread or small bites, this decorative plate also doubles as a stylish catchall tray or candle base, making it a multifunctional piece for refined living. A stunning fusion of Ginori 1735’s artisanal heritage and Gio Ponti’s visionary design.

About Ginori 1735

Founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Ginori near Florence, Ginori 1735 is one of Europe’s oldest porcelain makers and a symbol of Italian artistry. For nearly three centuries, it has blended meticulous craftsmanship with bold design, creating fine porcelain that bridges heritage and modernity.

Signature collections include Oriente Italiano, where Eastern-inspired motifs meet vibrant Italian colors; Catene, Gio Ponti’s modern take on a classic chain-link pattern; Labirinto, with striking geometric borders; and Il Viaggio di Nettuno, a whimsical marine-themed series by Luke Edward Hall.

Handcrafted in its historic Manifattura in Sesto Fiorentino, Ginori 1735 continues to bring art, beauty, and elegance to the everyday table.
