Kei Condo
Kei Condo, an emerging artist in Japan’s contemporary ceramic scene, presents his first U.S. solo exhibition at ARJ Los Angeles
Working with Kasama’s iron-rich clay, Condo has developed his signature yellow tones through years of experimentation with glaze, firing, and technique. The surfaces of his work are built, scraped back, and layered—showing traces of process while maintaining a sense of warmth and balance.
At the heart of Condo’s work is the idea that tableware should quietly support everyday life. His ceramics are meant to be used, handled, and returned to over time. Warm and steady, they create moments that encourage a slower, more attentive way of being.
This exhibition will showcase approximately 50 works, including one-of-a-kind vessels alongside bowls and plates.
Join us at ARJ Los Angeles to experience the warmth, movement, and material depth of Kei Condo’s first U.S. solo exhibition.
