[Marunao Deluxe Collection]

Sen Rikyū (1522-1591), a renowned Japanese tea master, transformed the tea ceremony into a true art form. The origin of Rikyu Chopsticks can be traced back to the Momoyama Period when Sen no Rikyu crafted them for the light meals served during the tea ceremony. On the morning of each ceremony, Rikyu carefully carved each chopstick from fresh Red Cedar wood, allowing his guests to savor the subtle fragrance. This meticulous attention to detail highlighted Rikyu's deep sense of hospitality
