One of the traditional techniques of Nabeshima ware, called "Moist," is a unique expression technique newly developed by Hataman, incorporating the essence of Nabeshima celadon porcelain.

This technique creates a moist and matte texture that provides an indescribably pleasant tactile experience. The gentle, light green texture adds to its appeal.

The Sankaimatsu pattern features a pine tree motif, with "Sankaimatsu" referring to a type of pine crest often used as a family emblem. As the name suggests, it draws inspiration from the enduring symbolism of pine trees. Pines, being evergreen and resilient even in the face of snow and frost, have long represented perpetual youth and longevity.

Pine trees have also been associated with the dwelling of divine spirits, and they are prominently featured as part of the Kadomatsu decoration during the New Year festivities, symbolizing the anticipation of the divine spirit's descent.

From the concept of "waiting" for spring and divine spirits to ancient Chinese stories related to pine trees, the pine symbolizes the spiritual quality of patience and the act of "waiting" for the right moment to seize a favorable opportunity.

Nabeshima celadon porcelain is a precious glaze, emitting a distinctive green hue. Crafted from a closely guarded secret formula, this exquisite glaze originates from high-quality celadon ore sourced from Mt. Okawachi. A cherished tradition within Nabeshima ware, it imparts vessels with a captivating wide gradation. This contrast-driven technique results in darker shades in thicker areas and delicate light greens in lighter sections, all influenced by the underlying base.

• Microwave and dishwasher safe, but avoid rapid temperature changes or thermal shock.
• Do not use on direct heat such as in an oven or on a gas stove.
• Wash with neutral detergent and a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive scrubbers, scouring pads, and cleansers, which can scratch the surface.
• Avoid hitting against other hard surfaces as porcelain may be vulnerable to chipping or breaking.
• For stubborn stains such as tea stains or hot water scale, use kitchen bleach according to instructions. Do not use bleach on gold, silver, or platinum decorated pieces, as it may cause discoloration.
