This Landscape series captures scenes reminiscent of Imari’s Okawachiyama, a village nestled among rugged, rocky mountains. The designs have been passed down for two generations and continue to be cherished today.
Hataman Touen brings these landscapes to life with a remarkable sense of depth, achieved through delicate detailing and dynamic brushwork.

ABOUT HATAMAN TOUEN
Hataman Touen was founded in 1926 by Mantaro Hataishi under the name Manyo Kiln. With the 370-year history and techniques of Imari Nabeshima ware as a background, Hataman Touen embodies Japanese aesthetics as a modern story while inheriting the rich sensibility of Japanese culture.
Hataman Touen creates many unique and original products in three distinctive families. “Iro-Nabeshima” are the most traditional, characterized by elegant and subdued colors and delicate patterns.
